An engraving of Maria Anna (Marie Anne) Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi Levoy, Princesse Française, Duchess of Lucca and Princess of Piombino, Grand Duchess of Tuscany. Elisa was to rule Tuscany from 1809 until was forced to flee in March 1814.
Elisa was the only sibling of Napoleon’s to not survive him, dying in August 1820.
This engraving bears the library stamp of Roland Bonaparte indicating that this was once in his collection.
