This portrait is a taken from David’s portrait of Napoleon which shows him standing in his study in the Tulieries palace. Napoleon is shown wearing his uniform as colonel of the Imperial Guard, wearing the Star and Sash of the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour and miniature medals of the Legion of Honour and the Italian Order of the Iron Crown.
