Receipt for a map and supplied to the Imperial Guard in March 1812.
Published by Charles Picquet, (1771-1827) geographer, engraver and publisher active
in Paris at Quai de la Monnaie 17. He was offical geographer to Napoleon and his
brother Louis with the title Géographe Graveur du Cabinet topographique de S.M. L'Empereur
et Roi, et de S.M. le Roi de Hollande. He was also the distributor of maps for the
Depot de la Guerre as well as the seller of a number of other maps and atlases published
abroad.
